SSO for .NET/Java, Tomcat and IIS on one machine

hello, I have successfully configured SSO for Java version of Infoview (Vintela way) and SSO for .NET version of Infoview. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make them working both together.

Is it generally possible? If so, how?

Some people here mentioned that it is possible, but a bit tricky (J0sh), and didn’t continue the subject:

I am not quite sure what the process is to use SSO with BO XI . We are using Tomcat , Windows 2003 server and can’t figure out how to get it work. We tried to modify authetication in the CMC but nothing worked. We would appreciate some help on this ? Cheers fablaga (BOB member since 2007-11-04)

Hi, I will precede this post with apoligies for any unclarities and my obvious lack of knowledge on .NET vs JAVA vs IIS vs Tomcat, etc. We are currently on XIR2 SP2 FP2.2 and are going to upgrade to 3.0. We have a unique architecture in that we have 4 servers (all Win2003) which are two Web and two App. The “Web” servers are virtual servers running IIS. The app servers are physical servers running Tomcat. They are linked together via a Jakarta Redirector and SSO configurations between the two.…

I crawled through tons of web pages and a couple deployment documents from BO with no luck. I don’t have clear information is such configuration is possible, or – if not – what are common workarounds to archieve the goal of having both “types” of SSO. I miss keywords necessary for further searching, I begin to think that this is some kind of black magic. Is it really?

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts and suggestions on the subject. Any successors out there?
