Dave, I noticed that it’s been quite a few years since the speaker badges () have been updated. The last year showing in mine is 2009. Is it much work to update these?

Are you volunteering?
If someone could capture the data, I will get it uploaded. Right now the entry screen is very cumbersome. What I would need is the user name + user id of the speaker, and the event. If someone can capture that is a spreadsheet and send it to me, I’ll get it uploaded.

User ID? Where would I find that?
I might volunteer. Might.
MichaelWelter (BOB member since 2002-08-08)
If you hover over a profile link the user I’d will be the “u” part. For example mine is 3.

OK, well, then, anyone who been a speaker at an event since 2009, please post the event in this thread, and I’ll gather the information.

Here’s one:
Another good piece of information would be a list of available events that are not currently in the system. That would include SAPPHIRE / Annual conference, SAP TechEd, the BI 2012 event that many BOB members spoke at earlier this year, and the “Mastering” series from Australia + South Africa as well.
Mastering BusinessObjects 2012 - Australia (Melbourne)
Mastering BusinessObjects 2011 - Australia (Sydney)
Mastering BusinessObjects 2010 - Australia (Melbourne)
Mastering BusinessObjects 2009 - Australia (Sydney)
I don’t have a list handy of the events that Eventful Group puts on outside of Australia at the moment.
SAP TechEd and SAPPHIRE/Annual Conference have been running every year for years.
BI2012 was in February this year. Prior to that I don’t know that anyone from BOB was a speaker (2011 or earlier) but I could be wrong.

will this be updated from the ASUG BOUC speaker list as well? I had two sessions, plus developer wars
Ruune (BOB member since 2007-08-13)
Yes. Was that this year’s event?
MichaelWelter (BOB member since 2002-08-08)
I spoke this year. You might be able to cross-check this year’s speakers against asugonline.com or some other websites.

We won’t try to map the ASUG speaker list to BOB members, mainly because many members do not use their regular names as usernames here. If you want to get a speaker badge, please provide your name and session(s) that you delivered and we’ll get you on the list.
