I think I already know the answer to this but would like some confirmation.
Is it possible to run XI 3.1 SP3 client tools on the same machine as XI 3.1 vanilla client tools.
I cannot think how you would manage this if it were possible but just want to make sure I am not missing something obvious.

Not possible to do this on the same machine. The registry only knows of 1 version.

…but I have seen workstations installed with a number if different VM or Virtual Workstations to support different releases of the client tools.
Not pretty, but it works.
