Sorting weeknumber at report level

I am having a LOV {1(2008),2(2008),3(2008),4(2008),5(2008)…,1(2009),2(2009),3(2009),4(2009)…}and so on. In which first digit is week number and other one is year.When I use this object(weekno) in crosstab report,It’s values are not at all sorted. So I have to apply custom sort on it and whenever a new value comes in the database, its order gets changed. Could you please tell me how to sort this information in a crosstab report in Webintelligence reporting.

Hi Bhawna

Insert new row(column) to above(before) to your week object displayed in crosstab. Use substring to get the week numbers alone ( ie: substring([wek object],1,1)). Now apply ascending order on this row(column).

Then hide this row(Column). ( I mean, make the cell size 4 , border null, font white )

Hello Sir,

It really worked. what I had to do is only, Inserted two rows one for year and another for week no. and then applied sorting in the same order.
