SMTP user Name and Password

Hi Guys,

We are trying to start using SMTP server for scheduled webI reports. I am in stage to configuare the Email (SMTP) on CMC. There are two fields named SMTP user Name and SMTP Password on this. What actually goes on these two fields? Can i leave this field blank or it is mandatory? We use MS Outlook for email system.

Hi Wood

User Name : Acct Name that has permission to send email and attachments through the SMTP server
Password: Password associated with Acct for SMTP Server

Yes, You can leave this Blank
