Single Pass Bursting XI 3.1 (WebI)

Hello All,

I am trying to burst the report for multiple users. Single pass bursting is working fine with DESKI in XI 3.1 and when I converted the deski report to webi single pass bursting not working. Even I tried creating a new report but still single pass bursting not workint.

Its fetching all the data. Anyone having any idea what I am missing to burst the WEBI report.

Thanks a lot!!

You need to check few things which are also pointed out in the publishing guide, go through it from here
One of them is that the variable or object used in creating profile value should be present in the report and also check the syntax (for creating profile condition in CMC) being used for webI report

As i told earlier i have converted the deki report which is single pass bursting correctly. Same report i have conerted into WEBi and its not working. (that means object already there in the report).

Could be more specific on the syntax for webi doucuments. I have checked the document but unfortunately I could not find the method to define the value for webi. I have tired multile ways but not sucesful.

I appreciate if you could let me know the logic for webi report.

Hello All,

I made the changes and now its not providing any data in pdf after single pass bursting for webi. Even I tried to give value in multiple format to check is it a product bug or I am doing some thing wrong. I appreciate if some let me know the values which I am entering the correct method to provide for webi document. please Check the details below…

  1. “30” (This method is working fine for DESKI format report for single pass bursting but not working for WEBI method.
  2. =(“30”) (Not Working for WEBI)
  3. ‘30’ (Not Working for WEBI)
  4. =(‘30’) (Not Working for WEBI)
  5. 30 (Not Working for WEBI)

All the above method are fial its providing empty data for webi reports when it schedule with single pass bursting.

In version 2.0 it is (for tekst):
=“30”

In version 3.1 it is (for integers):
30
