Silent Installation of SP5 & FP5.2

Hi Experts ,
Need your suggestion on Silent Installation of SP5 & FP 5.2 .
All our user have BOXI R2 SP2 on their desktops having XP professional.

1)we are trying to Silent Install SP5 the .EXE file as per the documentation by BO(SAP) but still it is prompting for the Instrctions which we dont want.
we ant SP5 to be silently installed with out any prompts.Kindy suggest any steps or code that you think of .
Similarly
2) for FP5.2 also suggest Silent Installation steps OR the command on desktop having XP professional.
I dont see any document from BO for FP5.2

Hi Pavan, can you tell use the command line that you were using? Note that the CLIENTLANGUAGE=XX switch is case sensitive and required.

The same command should work for FP5.2, what seems to happen for you there?

Hi,

I also try to install deski SP5 in “Silent” mode as I did for SP3. I’m also prompted which I don’t want.

Here is the command line I use:

  • Note that it did work for SP3
    setup.exe REBOOT=ReallySuppress CLIENTLANGUAGE=EN /qb

Any resolution for that?
