Show records that match prompt OR Null, not both

I currently have the condition:-
Owner Matches pattern Prompt(‘Owner’)
OR
Owner Is null

This allows me to select all null Owners by typing NULL in the prompt, but when I type an owner’s name in the prompt I get those records and also all null records. How can I get one or the other but not both?
