Using the Query Panel in Designer, how do you limit which fields from an LOV are displayed? When trying to edit an LOV and I choose the object to place conditions, the “show list of values” option is not available to me.
In designer when I double click the object and go to the properties section and click on edit to go to the query panel there I find the selected object in the Results object. When I drag the same object to the codition panel and select inlist and there I am unable to find the operand show list of values for that particular object that is being selected. I want to apply a filter on list of values of the selected object.
What you probably want to do is display your entire LOV and then when the values window is up you need to select (filter) the values you want to display/associate to this LOV and then check “Show selected only”.
You are trying to display an LOV for the same object in which you are creating the LOV. “Show list of values” is not an option within the Edit LOV panel. You can type in values but if you want to actually select or filter on the values you will need to used the method I described. - thx
This is my first time here. I have the same problem. I am not able too see the List Of Value Option too. I followed the same procedure as below.

I tried to do what you have mentioned to but still i dont get the option of LOV.
I am working on BO 6.5.1, Oracle 9.2.
You can’t use the LOV query while you are editing it.
What you described is: you have opened the LOV query. From there you want to apply a condition. While you have the LOV query open in the editor, you cannot “show list of values” for that object, because the query definition is not complete. You have to use an alternate object for your condition, or make the selection manually.
