Has anyone tried using the setup command line options when installing from a master onto a client workstation. I have a network path set up for the shared data folder and it is not getting put into the shared path settings when installing on a client. However, when I use the wizard, it does keep the network path in the settings. Does anyone know why this is happening or does anyone know how to create an installation profile file?
Unfortunately, the command line parameters do not work for Master
installations. They mess everything up more than anything.
You’ll have to ask the users to manually run the setup in order to pick up
the required paths, or you can consider using an installation/packaging software
package for automatic installations.
