  • Is there a way to not return a ReportName() cell in a report by default?

  • Is there a way to set the “Relative Position” of a table by default? Eg by default the horizontal is 0.32 and vertical is 0.64 - I want these 0 by default.

I’ve not done it myself but here’s a blog post from Michael (a member on here who I’ve not seen post for a while) achieving what you wanted 11 years ago: Changing Default Formatting In Web Intelligence | Michael’s BI Safari

How accurate that is for the current Webi, I cannot say but it’s as good a starting point as any to look at.

Unfortunately, the file referenced in Michael’s blog post does exist any more. I verified in our BI4.2sp8 install. I don’t know how long it may changed. I suspect it is from XI3.1 at the latest.

I have made default changes to the Web Intelligence template (font and color changes only) in the cascading style sheet for Web Intelligence, WebIDefaultStyleSheet.css. It is located in the “%InstallDir%SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\images” directory
