Setting Security options for the entire group in Supervisor

I have searched this thread for answers and found none.

I was wondering if there is any way to set the following security options in Supervisor for groups of users as opposed to doing it individually for each and every user.

  • Change Password at first login
  • Password Validity
  • Periodic Action

We are currently in the process of migrating people from old to the new 61B WebI server and at times get a bunch of users to be migrated or moved.

Thanks in Advance.

How are you migrating your users? Manually? Via import of a text file? If you’re doing the latter, I believe the settings you mentioned are configurable via the import process. Check the syntax of the import in the Supervisor manual to verify.

Cindy
Currently, the migration process is manual since we have users migrating almost every day after a brief training. I guess there is no way to do what I am asking I suppose.

Well, the more I think about it, I should have migrated all users with the desired settings using import. Then turn around and enable them in Supervisor.

Thanks for your help

You could still do that. You could export the users, change the file to set their permissions the way you want them, then import them back in using the UU (update user) command.

Thanks Cindy
I will try that. We are also implementing KPI dash-board via App FOundation. We will see how that goes :expressionless:
