Here is a sample script to monitor if a list of any Windows services (that you specify) are down, and if so, sends an email.

Hi dnewton

Thanks for this batch job and instructions. It is very useful. Do you know if this works with XI R3? If so, how do you find the different BO service names?

If you go into the Services list under Control Panel, you can see what they are named. Or go to a command line and enter NET START

Be sure to enclose the long names in double quotes.

Great script. Thank you.

I got it working on Win2003 server (BO 3.1) only when I execute the servicecheckmaster.bat manually. When I use Windows Scheduler it does not work.

Any idea why?
