Hi ,
In BO Xi how to check the server log.
I want to check how many times the server was down last month and how long was the server down each time?
I check the Logging folder where BO log files are stored .I didn’t get any information from there .It was a text file and couldn’t info.

You would need to capture this information using a monitoring tool, that information is no available out of the box. There are a number of free monitoring tools available that can be configured to get this for you.

You may also look in the Windows Event Logs to get the information regarding when the server went down. Hoever, to make any real use of it, you will have to do as jwhite9 said and get a tool to manage all the data there.

I do know that you can export the information from the event logs to a spreadsheet, so maybe use the logs as a data source and write a report using the data.

Thank You so much.

I check the event viewer where i found lot’s of event’s and got the error messages.
Control panel> Administrative tools>Event viewers.

looking for further clue.
