Server Group perfomance issue

we are having performance issue with Server Groups in BODS 4.1. Someone is having a similar issue? Is there any solutions?

Dear community,

our BODS system is facing a big problem when using ServerGroup and launching jobs from command line.Our system is made of 3 servers, one for BI Platform from where the jobs are launched via bat and 2 other servers where DataServices are installed. Launching a job from the BI Platform via CLI using ServerGroup requires more than 6 minutes to finish it even though the processing in DataServices requires less than 20 seconds. Checking the logs we found out that the BI platform server is waiting 3+ min to give or receive a response from one of the DataServices servers. This wouldn’t be a problem if we didn’t use the TWS (an IBM scheduler application) to schedule our jobs. This scheduler would not start a new job unless it receives a response from BI platform server that previous process successfully closed (it makes a queue of max x jobs). We have a lot of jobs scheduled, more than 400, so launching jobs with ServerGroup a lot of runs are skipped resulting in a deservice. At first we thought it could be a network problem but if we eliminate the ServerGroup from the code of the bat file and pointing directly to the one of the DataServices servers the time is greatly reduced to mere seconds. All servers have been checked for network, HDD, Memory, CPU problems - you name it, everything points to a BODS problem. We tried to manipulate some parameters but without success, moreover there aren’t any specific parameters in the ServerGroup settings.

We did a lot of research and couldn’t find a solution so we decided to ask here for any help.If you need more information I will try to provide it.
