Send To Button Greyed Out in InfoView

Hi All,

I am using Administrator account in BO XI3.1 and my Send To button is greyed out. I have tried various things but it doesn’t seem to work. Could someone please tell me how do I go about activating that button? Thanks!

Send to functionality is enabled/disabled at item level, e.g. if a report is sendable or not. Since no report item is selected on login to InfoView, the Send to button is disabled. Click on an item in a folder/category and if the item is sendable and the user has ‘Send to’ application rights in InfoView (administrator should due to Full Control), Send to button will enable.

Farhan,

Thanks for the reply. I do understand that the Send To functionality is available for report objects only and not for folders. Even when selecting a single report, the Send To button remains greyed out and I am logging in as an Administrator!!! I was wondering, is there some other place where this functionality could have been disabled? Thanks!

Got it. It turned out that the Application right (“Send Documents”) for Infoview was explicitely denied for Everyone group. Just corrected that to default and it is working fine now. Cheers!

Hi all,

I am facing a similar issue with the “send” button greyed out in InfoView.
I have verified that the application rights are granted and I have restarted the services, but it is still greyed out.

I noticed that there are 5 additional groups that the user accounts are members of. Will there be any conflict if the rights are different in the 5 groups? Which takes precedence?

Thanks and best regards
Solomon

If the right is explicitly denied to any group that a user is member of (including Everyone group), it will be denied.

Thanks for your help, I have managed to resolved it by modifying for all 5 groups to be granted access. Cheers.

I am having this same issue. I have checked all my access levels and they all have the Infoview - Send Documents privilege assigned to them. What can I try next??
