Send Report in Email Body

Hi,

I have a requirement wherein I need to send the Web-I report contents to user in Email Body… rather than sending a link or as an attachment.

Is there any way to do so?

yes, in XI3.x, you should choose the mHTML format as output, configure the destination as email then choose in the pull-down menu of the message the %SI_DOCUMENT_HTML_CONTENT% variable

Add the webi report into publication
Select the format as mHtml
Schedule the report.

I have sent the webi report in an email through publication.

Well I dont have the Publishing tool in my installed folder…

I see Publishing Wizard where I can select .rpt format and all other formats but not .wid

is it different from Publishing?

publication is not a separate tool, you can create new publication through infoview…goto document folder -> right click -> New -> publication

Hi All,

I followed same steps to schedule a publication . My destination is email address , After scheduling publication status always showing pending . Can someone let me know what could be the problem .

Thank you all. I did learn something new through this post.
I was able to achive the tast of sending the report in an email body to the user.

Environment:
BO 3.1 SP2

Now, my scenario is

I have a report with, say suppose, 4 report tabs.
Each tab has 4 graphs in it respectively.

Now, with these options i was able to send one report tab(consisting 4 graphs) in the email body to the user.

Out of those 4 graphs in one report, I want to send only one graph in the emailo body to the business user.

Is there a way to do that. Can we say, pick this block from one report tab and embed it in the email body?

Please, I will appreciate your inputs.
I hope I was clear with my question. Let me know if need any further details.
