As I am new to BO security, need your help in providing the security
We have three user types UserA are responsible for Data quality and integrity
Can create reports directly in Production
Can publish the report
All reports can be publish to corresponding folder for Business Area and folder category
User B
Have only to execute the report
Can create personal reports
User C * They can execute any reports that they have access
User D
They are creating reports from Dev environment and all these reports cannot be modified by any other user types
Please ssist which kind of security need to create
Could you please let us know once the security is developed in BO 4.1.
Can we transport to QAS and Production ?
(I am assuming with help of Promotion Management we can do it. But would like to know the content…like what I can select objects, users & Group…)
Can I have standard content to select during import .
You can do this, however it is quite usual for there to be different users and possibly groups in different environments. You do this with Promotion Management, so you should read up on it.
