Does anyone know where about in Supervisor do you set the privilege to publish documents to the Corporate Documents in Reporter and to edit SQL? My coworker and myself were assigned the same privilege, but in the Reporter, I can publish documents to the Corporate Documents and he can’t. Both of us cannot edit SQL. We can view, but can’t edit. In v.4.1.5 both of us can and we’re using the same repository for v.4.1.5 and 5.0. Thank you.

Once you are in Supervisor select the user for which you wish to see command restrictions, move your mousepointer to the right and double click on the “Business Objects” selection.

A dialog box will be displayed which reflects the major categories for which access levels may be set. I believe you should “Documents” in the treelist to view the options available. The list to the right of the tree will show you the current settings for each item. If you wish to change an access level you must select the item and change the “Status” from the combo box directly below. If the item remains grayed this means that the access levels are set at a group level.

To determine your rights to change SQL go to the item in the tree labeled “Query Technique” expand the tree node and select “Edit Query SQL”. Again, to the right will your current setting.

Hope this helps.
