Search in BOB - special characters like @

Hi there
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this - apologies if it’s not!!

I am very much a fan of BOB and use it regularly.
However at times I find the search frustrating in that I enter a search string and it excludes some or all of the words I use. I understand that there are certain words like ‘report’, ‘object’ etc that can be excluded but I am currently trying to get info on @SELECT and the best USAGE thereof and it keeps excluding the character @ and only using the word ‘select’. Thus I get 6000+ results - just too many to go through.

Is it at all possible to allow these specific characters as they are so vital in BO?

As of right now, all punctuation and special characters like $ and @ and so on are removed from the search index. Even google fails to index the @ sign, so that’s not a possibility either.

So while I am sure your search efforts are appreciated, maybe you just need to post your question. :slight_smile:
