SDK to enable custom pop-up messages in BI launchpad UI

Hi All,

We have a requirement.

When a user tries running a webi report in BI launchpad and if the refresh takes more than 10-15 secs then the user must get a custom pop-up message in the BI launchpad with two options:

  1. The refresh is going to take time do you want to stay yes/no.
  2. If the user selects no then a report schedule must be triggered without the users having to manually schedule it.

could you please let me know if this is possible using any SDK’s? If not could you also kindly let me know the difficulties in achieving this requirement.

No way I can think of to add this functionality to BI launchpad.

You could create your own report viewer that would include that functionality.
