Hi

Is it possible to schedule an Business Objects report as a excel format and name the file name as of the prompts, eg If one of the prompts is Year, so if the prompt we amend to 2017, filename will be for example Status_2017.xls

The scheduler for Business objects XI (Version 12.6.0) only allows ID, owner,Email Address, Date and ID

The only way you could do this would be with some kind of customisation via SDK. But given that you are scheduling with prompts, so you are having to say 2017 at the point of scheduling, why not just manually update the name of the file?
