Scheduling main and sub report and sending it through email

Hi All,

I have a webi report created in BO XI 3.1. This report has a hyperlink which opens a sub report.However, when I schedule the main report and send to the email receipients then they get message Hyerlink cannot open, when they click on hyperlink to open the sub report.

Is there any way, so that when we schedule main report and sent to email receipients then sub report also opens when user clicks on hyperlink in the main report.

Any response will be of great help.

Are these recipients Internal or External users of your environment ? Do they have privileges to access your BOE Server. ?

These are external users and they might do not have access to BOE server. They need to see scheduled report in pdf or excel format.

Hi

There is no other way…same report if he clicks on Hyperlink again it hits BO server only.

You can do one thing when these kind of Hyperlink Reports you re-schedule those sub reports also to the users mail box.

Create a duplicate report, and create two tabs, display the main report in Tab1 and sub-report contents in Tab2 and schedule it. If you want the data to be secured for each recipient then add a report level filter.

Thanks a lot for your valuable reply. But i am creating a hyperlink between the main and sub report. Is it possible to create a hyperlink between tabs?? Because when i used interactive mode and try to create new hyperlink I could not find any option which could create a hyperlink to the tab in the same report.

That means if my main report has table, one column in the table has a hyperlink, this hyperlink should connect to the sub report which is there in one of the tab of the main report, Is it possible??
