I have an elaborate report built that uses data from 5 available universes. I’m looking for a way to schedule this report to run daily without me having to manually refresh each of the 5 universes individually.
The only difference in the Query Prompt’s is the ‘Date Type.’ Each Universe has a different dimension name for the date that is being pulled. Therefore, scheduling or even hitting the ‘Refresh All’ button doesn’t work currently because the system places a single ‘Date Type’ for all 5 queries.
Details:
Universe A | Adjustment Date
Universe B | Quantity Date
Universe C | Received Date
Universe D | Ready Date
Universe E | Completion Date
I use a hosted version of Business Intelligence and do not have access to the Universe Builder nor do I have access to any system event queues. Would the ability to run each of these Universe Queries require setting system events to trigger one after the other?
