I do not have the option to schedule a report when I logon to crystal reports. I am running crystal report server and I have checked to make all the server are up and running. Has anyone else had this issue?

Is the option missing all together or is it greyed out?

Did you check your folder rights? There is a right in there that allows you to schedule documents. This right has to be granted.

I am using administrator rights and have complete access. The option is completely missing NOT greyed out. Any ideas?

Please check if the Schedule rights are explicitly denied for Everyone Group at the Top level (Under Settings).

Schedule rights are NOT explicitly denied. The option is unavailable even to administrator account. Was there ever a version that did not offer scheduling. I would think not, but I am at a complete loss.

You are right… There is no such version where schedule option is unavailable.
Please verify the rights of Everyone and Administrator groups at Global level and Folder level. Somewhere the rights are missing, i.e., schedule rights are set to Denied or Not Specified.

Do you mean, you can see links to “History”, “Modify” and “Properties” but not “Schedule” on the Document List page ?
Don’t mind if your answer is yes. The reason I am asking this because we recently changed the user settings to hide these links (which normally appear under the report name).
In case, if any of these links don’t appear to you - try clicking small down arror icon before the report name.
I know it is frustrating to waste your time on these kind of issues.

I have explicitly granted access to schedule reports at both folder and user leve. I have attached a document to show what I see both through infoview and CMC. I am at a point where I may try installing on another server and see if there is something I missed, but I don’t think there was. It is a fairly simple installation.[/img]

I think your license does not include Schedule feature.

The product I have registered and that shows up in the licensing manager is Crystal Report Developer. Do I need something else, like Crystal Report Professional or something.

Am not sure about the type of license. However confirm with your BO A/c manager.

I purchased Crystal Report Server and was told by SAP as long as I had Crystal Report Server the scheduling option should work. I don’t know where to go from here. I am trying to get help from SAP, but my goodness that is a major project on it’s own. Seems I am going in circles with that.

Check your license in CMC and see what it says there. The license manager doesn’t show your BO license so that’s why you got the crystal developer license.
They are correct when saying that as long as you got your Crystal Report Server, you should be able to schedule reports. I’ve never seen it not listed like you say. Is this a brand new installation and the option was missing straight away?
If you look at your servers from the CMC / Servers area, what servers can you see listed there?

Not being able to schedule has been an issue from the get go. All the crystal report servers are started and running.
