Hello All,
How can we schedule a report based on database conditions?
Something like, if I want to schedule the report refresh only if a particular table column is set to ‘Y’ or count(*) >0.
Is it possible to handle this conditions using Events?

I don’t think this can be done via Std out of the box BO. I do know that this maybe able to be done with a 3rd party application for BO called Infoburst by a company called InfoSol. Their web sight is www.infosol.com .
I have used this product at the last two firms I have been at and it works great.

Thanks for your reply , Michael.
Its only one report with this requirement as of now , and I don’t think I can convince my managers for a third party tool for just 1 report.
Here is my actual requirment.
I have a webi dashboard report which has to be scheduled and refreshed daily.
But If a particular number in the dashboard is greater than 0, only then I have to send an alert email to the end users with some message.
Is there any other way to handle this?

yeah I don’t think BO can can read values within a report and then distribute a report based on a value.
I do know that Infoburst can do this but the tool is pricey for a single report. I am still working on my managers to get this tool into our shop.
If you find a work around please let me know.
