Hi,
I am unsure about how many scenarios does exits in order to connect SAP MDM as a source to bods.
1- is the creation of DB Views for Slave repository wide spread ?
Does tool provided t create DB views based on a MDM repo works with oracle database ?
MDM and Data Services Integration
2- what about the
Inbound Scenario ?
Outbound Scenario ?

It is considered a best practice by SAP.
We are using the MDM views to read data via BODS. The views are not totally comprehensive and data is stored like “Data1 ; data 2”, so some formatting and post-processing is required.
But it works, fast and without noticable load on MDM.
Don’t know if it is commonly used.

The other scenarios do not look quite popular …
Inbound Scenario :Data Services is integrated with the MDM Import Manager and MDM Import Server
Outbound Scenario :Data Services is integrated with the MDM Syndicator and MDM Syndicator Server
