Post subject: SBOUC 2015 Where is it and how was 2014? Reply with quote
So I personally didn’t get to go to the 2014 conference. I am hoping to get the approval to go to the 2015 conference.
I have felt the conferences shrink the past few years and was concerned for the 2014 event.
How was it?
Did you still get the value that you used to get in prior years with a smaller attendee list?
Are we finally getting to a level where Sapphire would be better?
And finally where will 2015 be?

I did attend 2015@Austin as a speaker and it had about 1500 attendees if i recollect right. I had a pleasant time there and prefer core BusinessObjects/EIM focused user events over the SAP showcase ones.
Can’t honestly answer the rest - so maybe Michael , Substring or others could pitch in there.
This year’s conference was good, but not great. As a speaker, I can tell you that ASUG doesn’t treat us as well as other SAP based events. But it was still a good conference. And yes, this is the only conference that is focused entirely on BusinessObjects, and that makes it worth attending. Next year in New Orleans should be interesting.
