Can anyone define *.sbo file ?

It’s an external SQL translation configuration file used by BusinessObjects. By using an external file, their core application doesn’t have to know all of the “rules” for the particular SQL engine.

sbo file defines database parameters and defaults.
For example

Array FetchSize, Pool time, InputDate format, Name of the parameter file for your database etc.
