Welcome to B  B

Can you post with full details…!!

Did you use LineNumber() in your report as variable or on free-standing cell??

Thanks

As a free standing cell

I am assuming that you are facing problem while exporting the report to Excel sheet.

Place the free standing cell in some other part of the report. For Ex., Either move right or left and try to export it to Excel and save with .CSV format. Check whether it is coming or not.

I too faced a similar problem, Free standing cell with some text was disappeared when I exported the report to Excel. I have moved the free standing cell to right. It has worked.

Iam exporting directly to CSV, not to excel sheet because is a file with more than 200,000 lines, and already try to move the column and use it as a variable and a free standing cell and dont work :hb: :hb:

ps:
I have MS office 2003

The function (=linenumber()-1) is only applicable when you view the report, however, when you save to my computer as CSV, then no interaction of the viewer comes into play. Objects depicted in your Result Objects pane from the “Edit Query” mode are transferred directly in their raw form to the CSV file, in the order that the objects appear in your Edit query mode, no “pass ‘GO’ and collect $200”, just dump right to CSV file.

Thanks,
John
