I am just starting to use CRXI but have very little experience of the product.
I would like to have a report, running server side, where there are a number of prompts and the values entered by each individual user are somehow stored.
Then the next time the user runs the report the previous values are shown as prompt defaults.
Before I spend a lot of time learning and investigating (which I am happy to do!) I would like to know if this is actually possible?
- Is it possible using normal / default CRXI functionality?
- If not, is it possible to achieve this by programmatically storing values into the DB or a text file and then retrieving these and using as defaults the next time the user uses the report?
I have PoC in BOXI with VBA that almost works but it is getting complex and only works intermittantly. So thought I would look at CRXI…
