save a report as EXCEL files with BO 5.1.2

Hello,

I would to know if it is possible to save a BO report as an excel file (with the BO version 5.1.2).

I know that the 5.1.8 and 6.1.5, this option exist. But in my company, they doesn’t want change upgrade BO. And the tips : copy all and paste in a excel file don’t satisfy the users.

Then i search a solution (perhaps a macro)

I don’t know if this will work on 5.1.2 but in BOB downloads there’s one 2002 (therefor pre 6.1)-macro https://bobj-board.org/t/15072 to save your report tabs. Did you try this one (just have to rip out the mail-functionality)?

i test the code, and i must made some changes because i don’t want send the doc by mail (my outlook wasn’t configure on the computer were is installed Business Objects)

With my test, it seems that works (i have little bug in the code - that they come from my changes).

I will send a reply when i would finish the debug of my macro.
