We have a client customer requiring High Availability for DQM to alsign with same for SAP CRM.
We plan a dual installation of BODS DQM and a shared SQL Server (Always On) for Repo. RFC on both side by side installations of BODS DQM to connect to a clustered Gateway.
We have the following issues to resolve.
How does the RFC work with the Gateway, do the RFC processes register with the Gateway?
What happens to the RFCs for where the gateway is up and BODS is down?
How does the RFC call for Job as a Service connect back to CRM for data on a deduplication job call? Does it use the same RFC that executed real-time job? or a separate call?
How does a gateway with RFCs registered from both BODS installations load balance over the two BODS servers?
(PS - we are not using a Job Group cluster, as this does not seem appropriate for these jobs).
