I have been looking into the real time functionality of SAP Data Services. In my scenario I need to create a process where SAP will make a call to Data Services to retrieve RDI (Residential Delivery Indicator).
So far I think this can be done via IDOC or if I create a real time job and publish it as a web service.
Is there a more optimal way to do this? I know existing address correction functionality uses a RFC interface but I’m not sure how to set this up with a new real time job that I would need to create for this purpose.
