The SAP RM user guides specify case sensitive collation when SQL Server is used as the target db for SAP Rapid Marts. Why is this?

Is it recommended to use case sensitive collation when the SAP is the source system for a custom data mart hosted on SQL Server?

Probably because SAP ERP database itself uses case sensitive collation?
