I was at a recent Lumira workshop where we were told we could run side by side installations of 1.31 and 2.0 so I thought I would try it.
I had uninstalled my 1.31 version when I installed 2.0, so I re-installed 1.31 after 2.0, but now when I try and run 1.31 it gets to
Loading module “Publish to SAP Hana”
and then hangs
If if I log in as local admin on the machine everything is ok but and I am not allowed local admin rights so that is not a long term solution. I have tried several solutions that I have found on line to do with proxy’s and licence keys but none of them work.
I also tried uninstalling but now I can’t do that either - for 1.31 or 2.0!!
Any ideas??
I had 1.31 installed already, and then installed 2.0 and all seems ok. However, a collegue installed 1.31, then 2.0, then installed the fix pack of 1.31 that enabled migration of .LUMS to LUMX. Doing that nailed his Lumira 1.31!
Even when SAP say its ok, its always better to proceed with caution…
Hi all
I finally found the solution - it is permissions on the SAP Lumira\Desktop folder which is why it works when I am logged in as Admin but not when I am just logged in as myself.
