SAP Extractor - getting Time out error - BODS 4.0

Hi Guys,

Need help - we are extracting data from SAP ECC COPA extractor [Extracor name - 1COPA_CE11000] usin BODS 4.0…

We ran job thrice and job is failing after fetching 4+ million records for each run with below error.

RFC CallReceive exception <RFC_ABAP_RUNTIME_FAILURE-(Exception_Key: TIME_OUT)- Time limit exceeded.[SAP NWRFC 711][SAP Partner 731 ]

Hi,

I think it’s because of the job extracting a bunch of records and the SAP job getting timedout.So I suggest you to change the datastore setting for this SAP source to execute the job in background.So please go to datastore–>Edit–>Select Execute in background to yes and then click ok.

@kdspvp; see note 1660374 - Fetch does not wait long enough; Timeout.

You will have some background and also a solution.
