SAP datastore creation fails with connection timeout

Hi I have a communication user created for BODS in SAP dev system, while i am trying to create data store for it using the credentials i cannot save the data store as it fails with a rfc connection error saying connection time out.

I can ping to the ECC box from my machine as well as JS, we also moved the transports from BODS to ECC.

Any help appreciated if i need to speak with BASIS or anybody to change any setup.

Sorted it out, was an entry in host file that was not correct.
