SAP BW vs. SQL Server with Business Objects

Hi All,

I’ve used Business Objects based on SQL and Oracle databases but was wondering if SAP BW works well as well?

Can SAP BW be used to replace relatively small size database?

It might be overkill to use SAP BW for small amounts of data.
|Otheriwse one can use SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence for example to report against SAP BW data, you will need the BusinessObjects for SAP solution (SAP Integration kit) though.

I am assuming SAP BW solution will be significantly more expensive than the SQL Server DW?

What kind of data size is suitable for SAP BW? (Oracle level?)
