Has anybody tried installing SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards 4.1 SP01 ?

I have downloaded and installed SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards 4.1 SP01 but when I try to start the program I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error (see attachment).

I found that the first time I ran it, I had to choose the “Run as Administrator” option. No problems since then (but it’s only been a couple of days).

I am using Win 7 (32 bit) and Office 2010.

Thanks a lot, this did the trick ! I shoud have known, because we had the same issue with XCelsius 2008. Why can’t they solve this bugs !

Hello,

I am trying to download the SAP Dashboard 4.1 software, but couldn’t find the link so far. We have license for entire software, but my team couldn’t find link to download. Can you please share the same.

Im still getting this error even when I got my help desk to remote on to my PC and run it as Administrator. You mention the first time you run it has to be Administrator does that litteraly mean the first time you run it, or can you run it as non admin then as admin and it should work ?

I just uninstalled and re-installed and tried first time run as Admin but still the same issue, if I run it as Admin nothing happens no error etc nothing appears, then try it as a normal user and its fine.

My PC is 64 bit and is running Excel 32bit could that be an issue ? I download from SAP the following install zip

2 days in now and I still cannot get it running, seems lots of people have the issue and some even re-install Windows to get it work :blue: what kind of a product is this that cannot even be installed cleanly first time :hb:
