Have either of you even bothered to look at the SAP Data Services installation document for Linux? It’s available from the usual SAP support site/knowledge base.

Yes, I saw those files, and they are very detailed regarding the installation. I’ve successfully installed BODS 4.0 on a linux server, after configuring the repository and add it to the jobserver everything seem to work fine. However, when I tried to run on Designer my first dataflow it gives me this error message:

We are migrating from BODI 11.7 to this new version, but I can’t even start testing it. I’ve changed the codepage on both datastores and nothing happened … Anyone have a comment or suggestion? Thank you in advance.

Please export the entire repo into an ATL file and send it to support. They have experience in finding the problem. In old releases UTF-8 chars in the metadata could have caused that.
