SAP BODS: AL_RWJobLauncher not able to access the log files

Hi all,

I’m pretty new to BODS, I’m trying to trigger SAP Data services jobs using the sh export files (UNIX environment). I would like to get the log files in a specific location with file names I desire.
I tried passing the LOG_DIRECTORY parameter with a path in the same environment. e.g. below

/BOBJ/BOD/dataservices/bin/AL_RWJobLauncher $LOG_DIRECTORY -w “$HOST_NAME” -C “$SH_EXPORT_FILE_WITH_PATH”

When I run the above script. The job executes and there are no log files in the $LOG_DIRECTORY path. Am I missing something here?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
