SAP BODS 12.1.0.0 Data Profiling Problems

Hi,

I have created a BODS 12.1.0.0 profiler repository and i am able to connect to it successfully. Couple of issues below i am facing:

1.When i try to submit a column profile request task, the status changes to Pending and it doesnt complete. It remains in Pending state forever.
There are only 10 records that the profiler is trying to profile the data on.
Since it remains in Pending state forever i am unable to view profiler results.
Note: there are no other profiling tasks running in parallel. The profiling table exists in same database as profiler repository

  1. when i try to submit a column profile request task on a table in the other database and not profiler database, i get a error message connection refused: unable to connect.
    is this case how would i data profile the tables in other databases

what is the status of the profiler server on Designer, check the status bar (on the right side)
this is 12.1 so not much tracing that can be done on the Webserver side
do you see the profiler task status in WebServer ?
check if any errors are logged in %LINK_DIR%\lob\webservices.log.0 file or in web_admin.log.0 file
