SAP BO 4.1 webi reports publications scheduling to file system. When we schedule to file system – windows network path using dynamic naming. If Dynamic name contains in Forward slash (/ ) then it’s creating subfolder with character of before Forward slash (/ ) then it placing file(PDF) in after with the chanters of after Forward slash. As per my requirement it should Crate file in the mail folder by removing the Forward slash (/ ). Please let me if we have any alternative solution to avoid this.

Ex : if my file name is Test _A/C_report [/size]then
Its creating subfolder with name of Test_A then
Placing file with name of C_report
As per my req it should place PDF in main folder its self with name of Test_AC_Report

Sounds like a bug to me. I would suggest opening an incident with SAP. Although they may tell you that this is “by design” and you’ll need to open it as an enhancement.

I’ve seen this happen when publishing to SharePoint. No good for you but you can leverage this to your own ends in the right circumstances.

The forward slash is being translated as part of the file path. Probably not anything that can be done from a programming side. Your best bet is to rename your file to Test_AC_Report. Then you won’t get the subfolder and the file name will be what you want on the file system.
