SAP BO Universe and Spotfire

Is it possible to connect Spotfire to SAP BO Universe?

I know Toreo offers ODBC driver, but I am not looking for any 3rd party solution.

Is anything possible within these 2 tools?
Maybe if it is possible to generate Odata link from BO side and provide it to Spotfire.
Our universes are quite big and have prompts in them.
Appreciate help on this topic. Thanks.

Only thing I could think of would be to build a report containing a table with all the data you need, publish this as a webservice in SAP BI, and then consume this in Spotfire, as long as Spotfire can consume the WSDL.

Building report this way, when the report data gets updated will that be reflected in Spotfire as well?

Yes, should do, the webservice can either server live data or data from a scheduled report instance.
