SAP BO Software required for Upgrade from BO Edge 3.1 to 4.1

Hi,

We want to upgrade from SAP BO Edge XI R 3.1 SP7 (i.e. Business Objects XI product: 12.1.0 standard edition) to SAP BI Business Objects 4.1 (edge) version with SP5/SP6? We have 20 concurrent Users and 20 named users on SAP BO Edge XI R 3.1 SP7.

I have seen on SAP web site, there is no equivalent edge version for SAP BI BO 4.1.

Experts, please answer the below queries:

  1. Is there any SAP BI Business Objects 4.1 edge Version for small/ mid sized companies who use crystal/webi heavily?
  2. I want to know , which Service pack either BO 4.1 sp5 or sp6 is more stable?
  3. Where to get full BO 4.1 installation software? As we do not have sap market place Id?
  4. Where can I get support pack on SAP market place?
  5. Where can I get patch to install on SAP market place?
  6. Which patch to install?
  7. Currently, we are deploying crystal reports 2008 on SAP BO Edge XI R3.1 SP7. Which version of crystal reports should we purchase, in order to upgrade to higher version?

You need to talk to a sales rep. If you don’t have a support contract, you can’t get anything. If you do have a support contract, then you can get a SAP id to log onto the support site.
