SAP BO 4.2SP9 patch 5 crashed my DEV

Hi,

I just wanted to know if some of you have successfully installed the BO 4.2SP9 patch 5 ?

I’m actually on BO 4.2 SP9 patch 4 but i had to raise a bug about “Cannot register Web Intelligence Custom Element” (did not get the issue on my DEV and Testing environnement, just on my Prod…lucky me)

So i’m placing a lot of hope on the patch 5 which acknowledge and correct this issue ( https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0003103998 ) but after installing it on my DEV, it’s now all bricked… SIA won’t start, and jvm logs aren’t helpful:

So did i get unlucky, or is there any bug on this release?
and i forgot to do a snapshot before trying the patch so im’ good to relaod a previous backup of this VM

Just in cas it could helps someone else, get my BO 4.2 SP9 patch 5 working after redeploying the patch (windows app, uninstall the bi platform => repair)
After it, BO was running OK, got a reboot, BO KO… 2 files missing! sqlrule.llr and sqlrule.dfa…
I copied them from the prod, and BO restarted OK…

I’ll give it a try on a second environment before the prod…
