SAP BI Launchpad No Selection for Authentication (4.3)

Exhausted all efforts to get this working by following several SAP articles on the web but no avail.

Did modifying/customizing the *.properties components on SAP directories (custom and default folders) and all didn’t help. Anyone here who could give some directions?

Did you redeploy the BOE war file after adding authentication.visible=true to the properties?

Just a note, you should not modify any *.properties files in the default folder. You should copy the files into the custom folder and make the changes there.
