I need more information on how to configure Load Balancing options on DS 4.2 to use Server Group setup on the SAP.
We have a SAP Application Group setup called BATCH_SAP on the SAP systems, and when we configure the SAP Application Data store we use the Load Balance option Set to “Yes”, and the name BATCH_SAP used in the Server Group. When executing the job, in Application log (SM37), Executing Server information populated correctly, but the Target Host is not populated.
If I enter the BATCH_SAP in the Target Host option in the Data store configuration, job fails with the error “INVALID_TARGET”.
Our SAP Admin thinks that the Server Group information specified in Load Balancing section is for messaging server, and the Target_Host must be populated, and this is for the Application server load balancing.
Anyone have any previous experience setting up this.
