Do you mean keeping footer in place of Header?

Thanks,

Hi,

I removed the Header by unchecking the check box in the Table Properties, Show table headers, got the body cells as blank by deleting the object formula in the body cell and in the footer I wrote the formula as =sum([Measure]). I wanted to suppress the body cells height as 0px, but the minimum is 4px.

why not just use a string of blank cells? You can get the same values you would in a footer by using correct calculation contexts/sectioning.

Hi,

Point in what rbacon said. Or you can even try remove table headers by un checking Show table headers and put the formula for the summary from footer into the body cell, that way it has only one row.

I only found this out today:

  1. in WebI, click the ‘show/hide fold-unfold toolbar’ button (right top corner, between tracking buttons and ‘show/hide report filter toolbar’ button)
  2. with fold-unfold toolbar activated, select the table to fold: arrows appear in the fold-unfold toolbar (similar to Outline mode in DeskI)
  3. click the arrow to fold the table: only headers/footers are displayed
  4. to display only footer: go to table properties and uncheck ‘display table header’

it is not clear to me, however, why this feature is not available in table properties, but only via this button.

mirko,

I am having a ‘funny’ issue :wah:

Found the ‘show/hide fold-unfold toolbar’ button, but it is only working in edit-mode.
In normal-mode there is also the same button, but it only adds a grey field on the left side of the report…that’s all

Any ideas?

All,

I’ve found out where the button is for in normal-mode (view-mode)

It folds/unfolds sections instead of breaks. :wah:

It also folds/unfolds Breaks.

But you have to select the data table that contains the Break object for the fold/unfold arrows to appear.

jhbrogdenjr,

That is what I suspected…but it doesn’t work for me :wah:

Question: how do you select a table/block in view-mode?

All,

Found it!

Folding/Unfolding on breaks break works only in ‘interactive’ view-mode…not in ‘web’ view-mode.
Maybe I should RTFM
